ReturnsReturns and right of withdrawal
When you can return goods, when the right of withdrawal does not apply, and how refunds work.
1. The 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer (or a trader with consumer rights), you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of taking possession of the goods, without giving a reason.
2. When the right does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)).
Boats built to individual order, with the version, colour and equipment chosen by the customer, are personalised goods and are not returnable under this right. We inform you of this before you place the order.
3. How to withdraw
To withdraw, send a clear statement to info@aquabonita.eu before the deadline. You may use the statutory withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
Return the goods without delay, no later than 14 days after withdrawal.
4. Refunds
We refund payments received within 14 days of receiving your statement, and we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of their return.
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer. Given the size of a boat, this cost may be significant.
5. Complaints
Regardless of the right of withdrawal, you can file a complaint about goods not conforming to the contract. The rules are set out in the Terms.
